It encompasses everything, yet possesses the strongest attitude; it is absolute calm, concealing its sharpness. Quiet and unassuming, yet brimming with power. In Chinese color theory, ink is divided into five shades: burnt, dark, heavy, light, and clear, their alternating use creating a profound and evocative effect. Understanding black is subjective and multifaceted.

Designer Li Zhiguang aimed to showcase black to its fullest extent. “Earth” blends different shades of black, with large areas of dark tones presenting a minimalist and elegant modern aesthetic. Under a matte finish, the pure texture of the luxury stone reflects a restrained yet sharp power, while simple yet dynamic lines outline boundless imaginative space. In terms of form, Li Zhiguang pays homage to the sculptures of Spanish Constructivist master Cilica, connecting them with winding, flowing lines to form a base that is both aesthetically pleasing and powerful, depicting a rational and restrained space with an extremely pure design language.
