The inspiration for “Floating” comes from the boundless imagination of fireflies in the poetry of Eastern literati. Sensors and LED strips are added under the bed; movement triggers the light, creating beams of warm light that resemble a swarm of fireflies flitting through the night, bringing endless imagination and a romantic atmosphere to the dark night. The designer aimed for simplicity in life; the suspended bed frame features light and flowing lines, making the space feel more spacious and airy. The legs are made of transparent acrylic, with inward-curving corners creating a floating visual effect. The acrylic’s refraction of light further enhances the ambiance, and the suspended base makes cleaning and maintenance easy.
